Saw someone post today that his confirmation saint is St Matthew because he googled who’s the patron saint of money😬
But that said, regardless of how you chose it, they say that you don’t choose your confirmation saint, your confirmation saint picks you.

@lucaAug 29It’s not a common practice here, but at the beginning of the year, a lot of Catholic influencers and similar accounts share links where you can be randomly assigned a specific saint to whom you can devote yourself for one year.

@erinAug 30St Jehanne d’Arc! I admired her for her bravery and willingness to listen to God’s will. I was very intrigued by the mysticism that surround her. I grew up in a struggle so she was someone I aspired to be like.
@darrynAug 30St. John Bosco, because he is known as the Father and Teacher of youth. I’m also a little biased because I studied at Don Bosco School, so I’ve always had a special reverence for him.
@christinaAug 31After reading this question, I looked it up because I couldn’t remember whether we had confirmation saints or not. My Confirmation was on the same day as my First Communion, and there was no saint assigned. So I guess I’m just sticking with my baptismal saint through my baptismal name.
