Experiences with gifted people

Oops…I thought this was not so rare..And I don’t mean it as some big revelations. I had met a sister who had the gift of visions and while praying with her hands on my head ,she asked me as if shooked whether I prayed to my guardian angel.So for a few years my morning routine was to start the day by saying the Morning offering ,Prayer to Guardian Angel and St Micheal’s prayer.It had actually become more like a routine .So I said ,yeah I just say the Prayer to Guardian Angel.I was actually confused whether it was wrong or so.She then proceeded to ask me ,and after praying this ,do you believe your Guardian is with you .I was like,I don’t have a strong conviction,it was kind of a routine .So the Sister told me “when I placed my hands on your head ,your Guardian Angel readily came and surrounded you saying she is mine “.She proceeded to explain that whichever devotion we have ,maybe any Saint or angels,they come up when she has visions.It was very eye opening for me

@maria_26 I never knew even the smallest prayers we say had so much strength.I later read that Saints and Angel are waiting for us to call on them for help.They will come only when we ask them .They are decent like that unlike satan who looks for a chance to trap us .Likewise the Sister told my sister she say Jesus of Divine Mercy while praying for her,and my sister had a devotion of saying Mercy Chaplet .The sister said a few other personal things related to our life .But this was something I needed at that time ,since I had a lot of insecurities at that time of being alone

@maria_26 Wow, this is beautiful! I have never actually heard something like that. It sounds really like a gifts of the Holy Spirit / charismatic thing, and I think usually in Catholic circles that doesn't happen much or at least doesn't get talked about much.

But what a beautiful story! That's so comforting to hear. The angels and saints are real and they're actually with us! It definitely helps when you feel lonely or stuck spiritually to know that you're never actually alone & the saints and angels, especially your guardian angel, are fighting with you 🤍 Thank you for sharing!

@misericordia in Kerala ,India,the Charismatic circle is a bit strong for years now .Every Catholic family would have attended atleast one spiritual retreat.We have like 4-5 days residential retreat,were you have a day for confession ,another for counselling to meet spiritually mature people for guidance in life situations .Sometimes it doesn’t go well🤪,like you might not like the way they respond.But there are gifted people too who guide us well
