Adding to @misericordia ‘s post in case anyone is considering Marian Consecration, these are some great dates to begin (though, of course, you can start anytime!).
The book I’ve been following is 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael E. Gaitley, and I’ve really enjoyed it.

@heidejanemaryJun 29When I was newly reverted to the faith a little while back, I read that book, and I remember it being good but don’t remember finishing it… I’m still a little iffy on what exactly a Marian Consecration is — I’d love to hear more about it!

The beautiful idea is that Mary, as our mother, gently pours her motherly love into our wounds and continually leads us to her Son. She doesn’t take our place in following Christ - she teaches us how to embrace the Cross with love and trust.
In making a Marian consecration, we’re simply giving her our full permission to carry out her motherly mission: to form us more perfectly into the likeness of Christ.

@heidejanemaryJul 2@chrishanna that is helpful - thank you! I guess I’m curious still because I feel like many acknowledge her as they’re Mother already, like myself, and go to her and seek to be more like her, but haven’t done an official Marian consecration
@chrishannaJul 2@heidejanemary Yeah! And what I like about this book is it’s not just full of prayers - it puts emphasis on the consecration part itself. But the original one has the prayers & litanies to follow along for the consecration (which of course is important) if you would be interested in that.
