Catholic teaching about Luxury and Avarice?

I think it's so true that being rich easily distracts you from faith and can even easily be an occasion for sin, both for avarice and pride. It's not without reason that Jesus so often warned against being rich - it's very easy to get attached to what you have.

Being rich can be unhealthy for your soul but I think that big saints came from rich families: Carlo Acutis, Ignatius of Loyola, Francesco from Assisi
