Shoot Mindset

1. The hardest part of the shoot is changing outfits
- You will be changing in public, not fitting rooms
- Expect 8–10 outfits across multiple locations
- Changing in bathrooms and the car will be your best friend

2. Pack intelligently
- Use two bags (backpack + suitcase / duffel / garment bag)
- Split outfits into two halves of the shoot
- Organize outfits in the exact order of locations

3. Keep your energy high
- Bring water and sip consistently (don’t chug)
- Bring quick food: protein bars, fruit, jerky, cereal bars
- Consider Gatorade or an energy drink
- Eat during natural breaks (lunch, bar/social proof locations)
-Low energy shows in photos and cannot be fixed later

4. Manage hydration properly
- Drink steadily throughout the shoot
- Avoid chugging water to prevent constant bathroom breaks
- Being uncomfortable or distracted ruins shots

5. Grooming is non-negotiable
- Get good sleep the night before
- Shower, groom, and smell clean
- Fresh haircut appropriate to your hairstyle
- Tight fades: 1–3 days old
- Medium/longer styles: up to 1–2 weeks if they hold well
- Fresh beard trim or clean shave

6. Do not reinvent the wheel
- Do not try a new barber right before the shoot
- Do not experiment with a new hairstyle
- Stick to what you know looks good and photographs well

7. Bring hair maintenance tools
- Hair product (clay, pomade, gel, etc.)
- Comb or brush
- Optional spray bottle
- Umbrella if rain or snow is possible

8. Clothing prep matters
- All clothes must be clean and wrinkle-free
- Iron, steam, or dryer-refresh everything before the shoot
- Wrinkled clothing instantly lowers photo quality

9. Final checks before leaving
- All outfits packed and organized in order
- Shoes and accessories included
- Hair tools and product packed
- Food and water ready
- Nothing forgotten

10. Overall goal
- Feel good / look good / photograph well
- Comfort, confidence, and energy translate directly on camera
- This shoot sets the foundation for your dating results take it seriously
