My whole life people have been telling me ti get at least 7 hours of sleep daily. I dont know if anyone else here uses hume but it told me today that I have a pretty massive sleep deficit and I need to be getting 10 hours of sleep a night... does anyone else sleep 10 hours a night.... is it even possible?

From a women’s perspective I can say, the length of sleep needed depends on where you are in your cycle. The luteal phase ( 8-9hrs) and menstrual phase( to even 10 hrs) is when we need the most sleep.

So are you able to sleep for 10 hours on your menstrual phase? I slept 9 hours last night which is the longest night sleep I have ever received and I feel like I was conscious for 4 of those hours: cognizant of what was happening around me.

@resonantcog yeah I could sleep that long.. generally due to low energy and with hormonal changes during that time. But I have to say the quality of sleep might not be great ( for me atleast)

Is Hume a ring tracker/bracelet?

Its a young company. It is a wearable bracelet that uses optical devices to monitor blood details throught the day with AI interpretations to offer suggestions for improved health. They also offer a composition scale to improve the accuracy of the AI suggestions.
