Yesterday I had a chat with a client and my business mentor (yes same guy).
Earlier this week I explained how I was feeling burnt out and didn’t know how I was going to make it to my goal. For me this was about business, but in fitness (and faith) if we don’t have a goal we can see, we might burn out or lose hope completely.
If you haven’t ever planned out more than a month of workouts before and you have no idea what your goal should be… ask these questions!
- Where can I realistically be in 90 days
- How much time can I actually dedicate to daily actions
- What has to be non negotiable for me to reach my goal
- Am are you willing to let someone help you if you can’t answer these questions?
If you answered the last one no, check your ego. God calls us to be humble servants and different parts of his body.
If you answered the last one yes, but can’t answer the other ones with confidence or clarity. Consider hiring a coach, or at least asking this forum if what you wrote is reasonable.
