@shellJul 8The average cost of living for two people across the US is about $100k, so that’s the starting point for someone capable of supporting a family.

@lucaJul 8The average cost of living changes from continent to continent. In US you should also provide for health insurance something that in Europe you don’t need even for the first medical procedures.

@rosepetalsofmaryJul 10It might depend on what state and city. Some have a higher cost of living than others. For example, NY and CA are pretty high. In the state where I live, it can be $45K-60K for one person. It’s higher for the cities and cheaper in the towns. It also depends on lifestyle too.
