Tie clips/tie chains, and cufflinks

If I’m wearing a tie and my shirt has barrel cuffs (no cufflinks) I typically go for a gold or gunmetal tie chain. Simple, holds my tie, and not flashy. If my shirt has French cuffs and I need cufflinks, I have a number of cufflink and tie clip sets that I’ll wear. Or sometimes wear a random tie clip that I have and cufflinks that somewhat match.

It’s best if they somewhat all go together in my opinion. I personally try not to wear a gold tie chain with a shirt that has French cuffs, simply because I think too much gold gets a little flashy at that point, but it depends on the designs.
