Building the Domestic Church

As a kid, I went into Catholic homes and was not impressed at all with the decorations. I know you know what I’m talking about. Dull and “boring”. As an adult I now admire the beauty but I know my child will most likely feel like I did if I decorate our home that way. I’m trying to go above and beyond with decorations and Catholic items that honor what they represent but are objectively beautiful. What are some items in your home that your children like looking at? For example, I have a St. Micheal the Archangel font because there’s something inherently cool about an angel with a sword standing on Satan.
