As an intro, what Catholic order are you discerning to join? What attracts you in it?
Or, if you're already a religious, what order are you in?
While you're here, say a little prayer for the vocation of anyone else discerning religious life ❤️

I am discerning to join the Carmelite nuns myself. I love how they're so totally focused on God and on becoming one with Him. It's really all about God and nothing else, and I want to be like that.
I'm also discerning with nuns who have Perpetual Adoration. Adoration is what made me convert to Catholicism and I've experienced many graces while praying at their chapel.
There are some practical issues about joining though, and for this season in my life I know I'm still called to the job I currently have & to care for my family. So also just praying God will arrange everything according to His plan and that He will help me to accomplish His Will at every moment.

The Little Nuns or Poor nuns! I reaallly love their charism (and habits😉) They go on pilgrimages and hitchhike the majority of the year and bring people back to the Sacraments.
That sounds beautiful! A friend of mine is also discerning to join the poor nuns and she has already experienced many graces from just visiting them!
Woah I wish I could visited them someday too 🥹 I’m doing their online discernment for now.
I am currently discerning to enter the 3rd order Dominicans
Love the Dominicans! How did you realise you might be called to the 3rd order?
I love to read books that nourished my soul including the Bible. And I admire two saints from the 3rd order, Catherine of Siena & Pier Giorgio Frassati
@christianvsdominicvs that’s so cool! I went to a few of their gatherings a couple of months ago bc I really admired Pier Giorgio and the Godsplaining friars
I also encountered Dominican priests and brothers as well. On the part of the Dominican brothers, I jokingly asked if I can enter the order even if I was named after their founder. He said yes.
