Are there any hidden gems you’ve encountered in your travels?

One time in Spain, I found a church that traditionally had one of the jars from the Wedding at Cana. It was so cool!! We didn’t expect that. I have many things to share for Spain and Canada! I’ve visited some unique Portugal sites too. For France, I only experienced a few mainstream places. I’d love to visit Our Lady of La Salette and Mary Magdalene though!

How about you though? What have you discovered?

Def the Balinese church I mentioned in my post.

Also this sounds silly but I went to Milan and completely forgot my patron saint was archbishop of Milan and is buried in the Cathedral so I just chanced upon my patron saint’s tomb like a fool.

That Balinese church was unreal!

Lmao 🤣 That’s amazing. Love that. Honestly, there’s so much to see and do. Sometimes churches will contain things that we don’t expect, like what I mentioned with the jar of Cana. During a pilgrimage through Spain, one of the churches happened to have a lot of statues and icons of St. Isidore. My fiancé had a similar experience with you, but with St. Isidore 😂

A little church in Germany where they have a beautiful Stations of the Cross and a "chapel garden". The Stations then lead uphill to a chapel on top of the mountain, which also owns a relic of the Cross!

There is this church , Champakulam Kalloorkadu St. Mary's Basilica ,Kerala ,India,we chanced upon but never visited which was consecrated in 427 AD which is one of the oldest church in Kerala India. It had beautiful ceiling paintings and later on we learned that the painter did the painting lying down and drew the painting with his legs.I don’t have any pictures of it now.
