My favourite anime (as a catholic ofc) is Naruto because of its themes on forgiveness and ending a perpetuating cycle of hatred. Its amazing to see catholic virtues be present in a culture completely uninspired by christian belief, and is proof that God's beauty is visible for all to see, believer or not.

My top recommendation is The Faraway Paladin. I found it ties well with faith and the struggles of following God and striving to do good in face of adversity. The manga art is even better btw. Also touches on family love, friendship and general good vs. evil.
