How are you preparing for the Nativity of Mama Mary?
Would love to know if anyone follows anything specific or if there are any special traditions in your parish! 🌸

@christinaSep 3Just these small acts of devotion to her - praying a Novena, attending Mass on her birthday, and keeping flowers at the altar.
@emmanuellaSep 1The name of my parish is Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, so it is a big day for us.
Also members of the Legion of Mary here celebrate in a big way. The council in my parish will celebrate on the 5th and the 12th, but a thanksgiving Mass will be offered on the 8th. I am looking forward to it.

@christinaSep 3Wow! Yeah, all our parishes named after her have huge celebrations too. And of course, Velankanni in Chennai, India, is an apparition site, so there’s a huge celebration and pilgrimage there during this time.
@carsmythSep 2The Shrine of Our Lady of Health and navity of Mother Mary novena is going on. The church is preparing for the big day on 8th Sept. Confessions and the Novena are going on.
The Shrine was given its recognition because of Santa Maria Bambina and the many miracles associated with her. She is so beautiful, and it is truly moving to imagine St. Anne holding Mama Mary in her arms.
