I feel the same but I'm a woman
I’ll suggest you to reading this book: “how to be alone” by Renuka Gavrani.
Hope the best for you!

@luca Thanks for the suggestion!
As a younge catholic man myself, I too struggle with loneliness.
1. Go out and meet new people.
One way I do to become less lonely is by meeting new people at church, at the gym at school, anywhere. Sometimes it feels unconfortable to talk to random people but by just allowing the conversation to flow naturally, I realised meeting new people is not that bad but actually really fulfilling.
2. Alone with the blessed Sacrament.
Going to Adoration or visiting a church/chapel is also a way to not feel lonely. Being alone with God. While praying I also add in my intentions those people I just recently meet.
This is my approach and I hope this can help you too. God bless💚.

If it makes you feel at all better, loneliness is not a strange or alien thing to feel. After all, we are communal creatures made to be in relationship to one another, just as God is relationship and love within Himself.
Without context for your life situation, I would offer the following insights from my own personal struggles over time:
1. Offer it to God first.
Christ experienced loneliness in His time on earth. Indeed, you could argue He experiences it again and again in every Tabernacle where there is no one to sit with Him. If there is anyone Who can relate, it's Him.
2. Consider social circles.
Do you have many friends or no friends? What do you look for in a friend? Where are you placing yourself to meet others?
3. Understand why you feel lonely.
Do you miss conversation, laughing/joking with others, doing activities with other people? Whatever aspects of socializing that you're missing, seek out social environments/circles that will help fill it.

If you come to find out that even after much prayer, effort, and time you still find yourself feeling the same kind of loneliness, leave it in God's hands. Easier said than done, I know, but it may come to be that Christ is calling you into His loneliness for a specific reason. Only He and you can know this reason, now or later, but it may be of some comfort for you if the Lord reveals that He is offering you an experience of His Passion and that it's as temporary as His suffering was leading to His glorious Resurrection.
You've got many brothers and sisters here praying for you, my guy. Whatever the outcome, hopefully that's some small comfort.
Yours In Christ

The most important thing is that : it’s not an ever ending moment. It’s a phase.

Finding people that share something quirky,( normal hobbies) or diffrent that you might feel insecure with general people , especially on the one that most people aren't intrested in or maybe is your insecurity, I'll start with mine , I liked writing fiction. But back when I was genuinely invested in it , I didn't want to do it cause my friends thought I was weird , and I'm naturally an introvert . But when talking about my passions I become an extrovert , among people curious or intrested in writing I talk well , same goes for my other passions too (cars, mixed martial arts, and guns), so in case you want to talk about any of those you can talk to me , finding people with similar vibe and passion can make you feel like you aren't that weird or something , it worked for me atleast , and I hope it works for you too
