God exists outside of time

I was going through the reading of 25th week of ordinary time. First reading of (Ecclesiasticus 3: 1 - 11)

What stood out for me was, "I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. He has also made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart. Yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end."

Time matters! This life is God given time to know him. Love him and serve him. When people do not realize the value and the purpose of the given time they will fail in living it meaningfully.

An experimental knowledge would make you realize we need to understand the very nature of life, "Property and appropriateness of time." Is an essential property of life. The First reading from Ecclesiastes teaches us, "there is a time for everything." In the second reading, the disciples fail to understand the sequence of time that suffering precedes glory. They wanted to bypass the way of the cross. And arrive directly at the point of resurrection. They wanted to anticipate the glorious glory before completing the battle itself.

Blessed are we to know the Lord, experience Him and bear witness to Him through the different times in life. We will do well to ensure our knowledge becomes experience and change.

Have you ever felt, or do you feel like, you wish things would cut to the chase and the moment would arrive quickly

So important! We spend way too much time in regretting the past or living in it, worrying about the future, wishing our present circumstances were different - instead of accepting the present as it is, and using it for God's glory as well as we can. 🤍

Certainly! As Paul said, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Suffering seems futile sometimes. But it is true it is a right of passage that we all must endure. I often see myself closer to God in times of suffering knowing He was the first to suffer for me.

I couldn't agree more! When I began to realise the depth of it and offered those moments to the Holy wounds of Christ. This life is a journey, when done well it is a quick move to paradise.
