Anyone have a hobby or side hustle going they are enjoying? Mine is paper making at the moment.

Interesting! How does one go about making paper?

I’d like an elaboration as well…

I take old paper that needs shredded but I dont have a shredder so I tear all the paper up, put in a bucket of water a couple days, made a few wooden frames in the sizes I wanted, stapled screen like from the hardware store on them, blend the paper in even more water stir it all in a tote of water and then dip the screen in the water let it settle a sec and pull it out and let it dry, you can speed that up using various techniques

@tylerkrumtum that is really fascinating

I love making rosaries and other religious jewelry. I second everyone else though. I’m intrigued with the paper-making

Are you able to make clasps like one would put on a journal or diary? Im trying to make handmade prayer journals and pocket verse and prayer books but I need something to pretty it up

@tylerkrumtum You can DM me on here or IG, but I can try to make something like that. I’d love to know if you want any details like a saint medal or whatever other details you’d like
