Why does God allow innocent people to suffer when He is loving, merciful, and all-powerful?

@resonantcogOct 23It is easy to say you love but without suffering, there is no way to show love. Without love, there is no longing, without longing, there is no suffering. Without suffering there is no sacrifice. Death is not loss but abandonment for Christ is life and if death is no sacrifice then the only sacrifice one can make is through suffering. You suffer for sacrifice and you sacrifice for what you love.
